Cadence Therapeutic Riding Center invites volunteers to assist riders with special needs by becoming instructors, assistant instructors, and by caring for and exercising the horses. Openings are also available on committees that schedule riders, present special events, promote Cadence, raise funds and help manage budgets and finances, and work on a Capital Campaign to build a new indoor arena.

Cadence Therapeutic Riding Center is located 2 miles north of Elmore©ˆs Corners at 120 CR 236, Durango CO 81301. Board President Ron Tyner can be reached at 970-749-0607 or rtyner@q.com to answer questions and provide facility tours.

The 2012 riding season meets on Tuesday and Thursday as follows:

Spring Session: April 17 — June 5
Summer Session: June 11 — July 31
Fall Session: August 14 — October 4
